Hi, selam, salam, ni hao! I'm from the United States and my native language is English. I'm looking for friends who speak Chinese (pu tong hua), Persian (Farsi, Dari, or Tajik), Pashto, and/or Turkish. Chinese: I studied Chinese for three years in college but I've forgotten a lot and I want to make Chinese (or Chinese-speaking) friends to practice with. I also want to learn more about Chinese culture. Persian: I can understand some basic Persian and speak a little bit, but I need to improve. I really like Persian because it's beautiful and a very important language historically. Pashto: I'm studying Pashto now at a university in the U.S. but I need someone to practice with! I'm learning Kandahari dialect, but I'm happy to meet Pashto speakers from anywhere! Turkish: I can speak Turkish better than I can speak the other languages, because I lived in Turkey for a while, but I need a lot of practice, especially with speaking and listening, and I want to improve my vocabulary and fluency and work on some advanced grammar. English: English is my native language and I have taught English as a second language in the past.
