Hi, Im using the Pimsleur method to learn turkish This method is audio only and has 10 lessons of 30 minutes each one.
I have a doubt about the lessons and maybe somebody here can clarify.
I will transcript a little part from the second lesson (i'm writting as I hear it, maybe I'm misspeling):
Say you know a little turkish:
Biraz turce biliyorum
Ask the woman if she knows english:
Siz Ingilizce biliyourmusunuz ?
Is this correct, "you" in singular should be "Sen" not "Siz". Not sure, but shouldn't it be "Sen Ingilizce biliyormusun" ? .
Are they mixing singular and plural ?

It is true that it also means plural you. and "sen" is the informal style when u talk to ur friends or family etc. I think this is the way in French too. |
