josesallanSeptember 2014 I you are speaking with a Spanish person you shoud use "usted" only if you do not know that person really well or if you are trying to be polite, otherways it will sound strange. |
oumaima-derAugust 2014 and ustedes & vosotros |
EpiphanyGreavesSeptember 2014 thecnically speaking they are the plural vertsons of tu and usted (so ustedes should be the most informal version and vosotros the polite) but in practise only a few countries (as spain and argentina) use vosotros and the rest use ustedes regardless if they are talking in a formal or informal manner. They are the eqquivalent of the plural form of you
carloslorenzo98August 2014 usted is more polite than tu. Tu is informal Ustedes and vosotros are the same, but vosotros is used in diferent countries for example Spain |
