Mi nombre es Gary.

call = llamar.
name = nombre.

Call me Gary.
My name is Gary.

    I would rather say: call = llamarse, the reflexive form of llamar. If you say: "Llámame Gary", then you can translate it as "Call me Gary". "Me llamo Gary" can be translated in English as: "I am Gary" or even "My name is Gary", but not "Call me Gary".

Llamar(verb):
yo llamo
tu llamas
ellos llaman
nosotros llamamos

Example: yo me llamo Orlando.

En Español, podemos utilizar palabras dándole el mismo significado y significado diferente. En este caso llamo y Nombre, se pueden utilizar del mismo modo o diferente. Ej. Me llamo Marho / Mi nombre es Marho.
Pero la palabra llamo se puede utilizar también en otros contextos.

You can say "Me llamo Andres" or "Mi nombre es Andres" both are translation of "My name is Andres". also the word "llamo" is conjugation of the verb llamar(to call)
