Can you help a teacher, help a student?

I'm an ESL teacher of Refugees and Newcomers to  Canada, and I have a student from Romanian who is struggling with basic grammar.  I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with some basic examples in English and Romanian to clarify simple verb tenses and basic voacbulary.  I can offer English or German, and poor Russian in exchange.
