English Stem Casual Form Ending+아/어 meet (friend) (친구) 만나 (+아)::::::::::::: (친구) 만나 play tennis 테니스 치 +어:::::::::::::::::: 테니스 쳐 shop 쇼핑하 하 → 해::::::::::: 쇼핑해 write (letter) (편지) →쓰 drop ‘ㅡ’ +어::: (편지) 써 I am OK with all four examples above and the rules&exceptions.
BUT text a message 문자 보내 (+어) :::::::::::문자 보내→ There is no change here.
I was about to add+어 and write 문자 보내어 but the book suggests 문자 보내 as the correct use.
Why is it (no change stuff)so?
Is it specific to only this verb or does it apply to all verbs ending with 애?
