Hey!
I've been learning Farsi for a while and just started sentences with 2 verbs. Unfortunately my book doesn't give as many examples on it as I'd like, so I'm left with a bit of insecurity about this.
Let's start with the sentence "I can read". من می توانم بخوانم This seems pretty easy so far, since it's just 2 simple verbs. Trying to change this sentence in certain ways comes with problems though...
1. Now I want to say "I like to read" or "I like reading". In this case, the verb to read turns into a noun. How do i do that? Can we work with دوست داشتن here?
2. If i know how to say "I like to read", can i just turn the present form of دوست داشتن into present conjunctive to say "I'd like to read" or what do i have to do for that?
Thanks a lot in advance!

![]() | MOHAMMAD2000January 2017 "to read" is a noun but if you want to say I like to read you can't use "دوست داشتن" in your sentence you should say "من دوست دارم بخوانم" or "من خواندن را دوست دارم" |
![]() | Hasti_1May 2016 In farsi for "i's like to read" من مایل هستم بخوانم. من میل دارم بخوانم. But you remember this kind of talk to use for the books or formal. for unformal we use: من دوست دارم بخونم . من میل دارم بخونم. |
