Problem in a translation.

Hello,

Je travaille actuellement dans le cadre universitaire sur des articles de presse anglais et israéliens et je rencontre un problème de traduction sur un paragraphe. L'un de vous pourrais m'aider à le comprendre sans ambigüité svp ?
At University, I'm working on Israeli and English press but I have a problem with some sentences. Can you help me to translate it (in English or in French), please ?

הסיפורים שמספרים מסביבי בסדנא נשמעים שוליים יחסית. פה פוסטר פוגעני, שם הרצאה שניסו לבטל כי היתה אנטישמית. כמובן שכמה שהסטודנטים היהודים יתלוננו, זה לא יעזור. הם הגיעו עד לשר החינוך הבריטי כדי לבטל את אחת ההרצאות הללו, ועדיין נתקלו בתשובה שזו זכותם של המארגנים. זו המשמעות של חופש הביטוי. הכל בשם חופש הביטוי.

the conversation topic: anti-Semitism and anti-israel-ism on campuses. I think about Southampton. We've been here for over four months. This is a university city and a port city. There are some better and some worse neighborhoods. Like in any place. But anti-Semitism ?! This is not a topic that arises in every day conversations. Everyone in the university knows that we are Jews, that we are Israelis. in the girls' kindergarten they are respectful and meticulous about all the weird Kosher rules of this israeli family, especially the Muslim caretakers. next door to us live Muhammad and Homeira, a Pakistani doctor and his wife. A friendly couple. They also know that we are Israelis. On a personal level, it does not seem to interest them.

The stories they tell around me in the workshop seem relatively minor. Offensive poster here, a lecture they tried to cancel because it was anti-Semitic there. Of course it would not help how much the Jewish students will complain..
