Hi!
Does anybody have any good books and CDs to recommend for learning Hebrew? I've been thinking about maybe buying either the Assimil books and Cds (in French, because there doesn't seem to be any in English) or the "Hebrew from Scratch" part 1 that Ulpan uses. Does anybody have any experience from them or from any other books/Cds? I'd really like to learn the Hebrew alphabet from an early stage in the learning process. Does the Assimil book use the Hebrew alphabet thoughout the book?
Thanks for your help!

keshetOctober 2013 I've been using Assimil, L'Hébreu Sans Peine, it's nice, there are little details about israeli and jewish cultures added which is fun. I use flashcards for revisions. Now I don't know enough hebrew yet to really talk about it, but I really like the method. As for the alphabet, they introduce letters slowly chapter by chapter, and then do the same when you learn how to write in script. It's a good method. Also try cartoonhebrew.com for the alphabet, helped me a lot! |
