sorry but "esse" isn´t the infinitiv, it´s "essen"

This are the different forms, if you conjugate the verbe "essen". I write an example for each form: Ich esse Reis. Du isst eine Banane. Er isst Bohnen. Wir essen Schokolade. Ihr esst das Mittagessen. Sie essen einen Apfel.
