Please, what is the difference between "Sitzen " and "Sich setzen" ?!!

'Sitzen' means 'to sit', 'être assis' while 'sich setzen' means 'to go and have a seat', 's'asseoir'.

Examples: Ich sitze jetzt am Computer.
But: sb enters my room, I say: sit down please, tale a seat: ”Setzen Sie sich bitte”
