En francés, para describir una persona, un animal y una cosa ¿Se hace con la misma estructura?

Si quiero describir una persona digo, Il a des cheveux courts et blonds.

Pero si quiero describir un animal, ¿cómo lo hago?

OUI C'est très grand/ C'est un animal/C'est un enfant/C'est une voiture/ mais il est est plutôt suivi par un adjectif ou un participe passé.(pour un objet,un animal ou une personne)
il est gros/ il est fatigué/ il est terminé
