”ain’t” is colloquial American English for the contractions to the negative forms of ”to be” when ”to be” is used as an auxiliary verb, e.g. ”isn’t”, ”aren’t” and so on.

”ain’t” is mainly used in Southern US English and Black American English. If you want to speak these dialects of English, then it would be quite safe to use ”ain’t”.

However, in standard British or American English, people would regard the person using ”aint” negatively. Often when Americans, or British for that matter, are satirising people from the south of the US, they will use ”ain’t” in their speech.
