Hello, could you please explain why the verb  ”talk” doesn’t have ”s” ? ”Listen to Ginny talk about the article .”

The basic structure here is ”to listen to sb do sth."

Note that ”do” is the infinitive without ”to”!

”listen to” is being used in the imperative. The ”do” action is ”talk”, ”sb” = ”Ginny” and ”sth” = ”about the article”.

The key here is that ”talk” in this pattern is the infinitive without ”to”. It’s for this reason that there is no ”s” - even though it looks like you can see ”Ginny talk” in the sentence.
