Hello, I been created my company in Sweden and I’m French. It will be a rental service of toy box for preschool children. The name will be TOY-A-BOX. I want to know if there is not a hidden meaning ?

    Funny enough, there are dialects of English besides American English...

    But still, I can understand why some people are unable to understand that idiom exists in most languages and take things always literally. This could of course be the byproduct of a dumbing down of language.

    The author of this thread has done something very intelligent, unlike some American companies trying to move into markets in places like the UK, Australia and India without doing their homework, somehow thinking that ”everyone speaks American English”...

    Ha ha thanks for the precision. Indeed, I decided to use ”box”, It will be a mix with swedish and english without hidden meaning for anybody ! ;-)
