AussieInBgJanuary 2021 ”nimble” is an adjective, so I don’t think there is a ”to nimble” (but possible to be ”too nimble” to be nimble has a couple of meanings: - to be able to think quickly and understand something, usually when trying to solve a problem or get out of trouble. - to have quick and light actions with a part of the body, often the fingers. It can also be used for small animals which move quickly and lightly over a surface, without making any noise. Often, it’s used to describe something that is cunning or negative - such as a pickpocket stealing something using his/her fingers in a pocket (see the question about different types of thieves for the definition of a ”pickpocket” Or a small bird going past a cat to avoid getting eaten. |
