Hello, there!
I'm interested if this word "asap" could be used as a synonim to "as soon as possible" in common not official speech?
Or this word only for official using? I've never saw this word until today, such a discovery for me :D
Thanks for your help in advance!

exRangerJanuary 2021 I forgot about another way some Americans like to emphasize that they demand delivery of something -- information, a report, etc. In addition to ”ASAP” and ”STAT” there is this: Q: Sir, when would you like to have that report? A: I want that report YESTERDAY! Note: Indeed, the word ”Yesterday” is used in a present-tense phrase, i.e., ”want”, not ”wanted”, in order to emphasize HOW VERY PROMPTLY the deliverable in question - report, etc. -- is desired. |
