Hasan-M, I was serious. I tried to elude to the idea that it didn't make much sense to me, I made a link for you so you could see my source, and I explained a keyboard short cut to allow you to go right to what I found.

Chances are, you could look this up in Google for an answer rather than asking someone here, and if you can not find anything on Google, then you would understand why this was what I found.

I don't know where voltron got his idea, but I have never heard of it, and I don't think he has either. He just gave you any old response.

Do you know what they say about an old map? It is worse than no map, thought being that it can send you the wrong way, where as you would have otherwise looked.

voltron says, It can be many things...

Why didn't he tell you those many things? How does he know so many things this weird expression could mean when I, as an aged native, don't know the expression, even though I do know a Deepak.

With the down vote rather than talking to me, I certainly won't answer your questions anymore.

It could mean that you are hoping a decision you made was not the wrong decision. for example lets say you terminated a person from employment becaus eof alleged theft, then you are having doubts about the theft actually occuring, so you could say i hope i did not make a mistake by terminating the persons job, if for some reason that person in reality did not committ a theft. I can be many things but overall it means you hope you made the corrrect decision.
