1 comprise is formal than others , (means has a value)
2 consist is only used the active form (means no auxiliary needed ) example (my house consists of two room=true
my house is consists of two rooms=false

    Comprise = made out of (many different meanings)
    Contain = has it in it
    Consist = more like the pieces of a plan or idea or job
