We can find zoos in a lot of cities everywhere in the world. Do zoos have a positive impact on the conservation and education of animals?
At first, some species only exist in zoos because their natural environment isn't favourable anymore. This place is their last chance of survival. Even these animals have less freedom than in the nature, they can eat, drink, move and interact with other members of the same species.
Then, the relationship between the animal and the human can be great when the love is there. It's possible for the human to educate the animals and develop with them a certain behaviour. They can prepare a show or work altogether on a field to cultivate food.
Unfortunately, it can happen that some human don't show compassion for the animal and that some are mistreated.
As conclusion, the zoos are a great opportunity for people to be in contact with animals, develop a relationship and educate them even it can happen that some animals are abused. For some species, the zoos are their last chance of survival.
