There are two things: (1) The question should have been "What's the difference* between ..."
(2) The question is not very clear. Are you asking about Simple Past and Past perfect or other kind of past tenses?

    I read" use " and " used to " use for past habit and past state . Why we use both of them for same things? What's the difference?
