kso89March 2017 Yes, also, in English, when "a" comes before a noun beginning in a vowel, it becomes "an" to make it easier to say. Thus "a other" becomes "another". It looks like a different word, but it really isn't. When you use "the" before "other," you don't need the "an" (obviously), so "other" stays "other" (instead of "another").
