DAI RISPOSTE
![]() | brainwashmeOctober 2016 "Find out" means that you get information that you did not have before. For example: I just found out that my grandma died (you did not know this until someone told you. So just found out) If you understand something you have learned it from something or someone. For example you will hopefully UNDERSTAND the difference between "understand" and "found out" after you have read this comment! Then you can say "I just found out what the difference between found out and understand is!" Hope this helped! |
mahdi1October 2016 okkkkk thank you
![]() | cgonzalezesqOctober 2021 These are two very distinct and different terms or concepts. to find out requires either active steps such as in this statement I do not know the answer but I will find out. In essence it would require research to ifnd new information. More generally, it denotes the finding of new information in one way or another. So if you are newly informed of something you could say I just found out that the moon is made of cheese for example. To understand simply means to comprehend something. This means after being presented with information you are able to comprehend the information which was presented to you. to understand something is also internal, it requires an internalization of information while find out is external and requires talking to someone else, researching something, or simply some action outside of yourself. |
