    Majoring in academy of arts, I think the invention of the camera is a milestone in the art history. The camera was not invented by the same inventor and neither in a short time. It had taken a long time and each component was made by different inventors. Generally speaking, the first camera invented was made by Alexander Wolcott. His camera design was presented on May 8, 1840. His invention made it possible for candid photos to be taken and not fade away with time.

    The emergence of camera indirectly influenced the format of art. Artists had felt nervous about the photography, because it can be as real as the original things. It surpassed the hand-painting; however, as a result of this reason, realism transformed into abstractionism. It's remarkable influence in the art history.

    Photography not only profound people's vision, but it also makes the moment become eternal at the same time, and to some degree it realizes the dream that people want to stop the flying time. It changes the way to broadcast the news, the arts' expression, and also the way to understand ourselves.

    By taking photos, we grab the wonderful moment in our life and share the joy to bosom friends or distant relatives even a stranger. It must be a remarkable breakthrough in our long history that contributes much to the advancement of human lives !
