How can I eliminate the bad habit that is I adapt it

 I think I Can use some strategies in order to overcome some of  my bad habits like smoking cigarette when I get stressed usually I am doing it  may be I can’t eliminate it because that is habits become a part of my routine but I can replace it instead I should come up with something different to deal with my stress For example breath deeply every time I feel like I want to have cigarette and then from there I will keep continue until I change the bad habit
