Conversational skills

Can anyone help me with my conversational skills? I really want to improve my conversational skills because I always stutter when i speak and I would like to get rid of my Malaysian accent and I'd like to speak with an English accent, not RP though.

PS. I know I should be proud of my own accent, and yes, I am very proud of it, but it's just not a right accent to speak in while speaking with foreigners or in formal occasions. So, please don't condemn me for not being proud of my own accent.
