  • The Restaurant Day

    • At last weekend me and Siili visited the Restaurant Day.
    • It's a day when everyone can open it's own restaurant for one day.
  • This tradition came to St.
  • Petersburg from Finland.
  • Four times an year people cook and sell their dishes on the streets, in hostels and different interested places.
    • At first Siili wanted to eat in the parks, so we went to one park, but didn't find any restaurant there.
  • But we continued our walking and met three point on the street which sold italian, american food and dumplings with cherry.
  • So we ate a lot of food (I think it's a lot, but Siili think it's a light breakfast).
  • Then we went to the centre.
  • Here we visited the loft project and there were a lot of various restaurants and food.
  • We tried some dishes and went to meet my sister and her husband.
  • All together we came to the place named Kitchen.
  • In this place people study to cook, but today there were a Scandinavian food.
  • We tried very tasty burgers with vegetables and fish and were very glad.
  • But we still have an empty place in our stomach so we went to another place to tried cebab.When there was evening we went to some apartments near the Finnish Gulf.
  • It's place has a roof with sea view.
  • But when we came the Restaurant Day in this place ended but there were some friendly people and they offered to us a tea and watching movie with them.
  • It was a black white silent movie "City lights" with Charlie Chaplin.
  • We saw film and walked on the roof with view on the night city.
  • It was a very good day.
