I read today in scientific news web site "http://www.biosciencia.com/news/world-record-solar-cell-with-44-7-efficiency/" that the scientist could fabricate solar cell with 44.7% efficiency (44.7% efficiency means that we can convert 44.7% of solar energy to electrical energy).

This great research can help to produce low cost electrical power from solar energy.

As we know, solar energy is a renewable energy source and free if the place you live have shine sun; but the cost of solar cell and maintenance of it is high comparing with any regular energy source (oil and gas).
