  • May this year is quite cold.
    • To this moment its average temperature is just the same as in Yakutsk.
    • In my mind Yakutsk is a classic example of something cold.
    • That there is permafrost in there already represents a lot.
    • Although there is still summer there - just about three months but with quite comfortable temperatures.
    • Our day temperatures now are just about 10-12 C and nights are with light plus, sometimes with frosts.
    • However, the sky is often crystal clear - beautiful deep blue sky.
    • It’s warm under sun rays - they are very active now, although a shadow or a wind, which is often northern these days, make you shiver.
  • It’s a pity that weather is cold, but it’s ok.
  • Even plants the same opinion.
    • After warm winter and first part of spring they awaked early.
    • Their blooming falls on this cold period, but because of this they are blooming incredibly long for two-three weeks!
    • My tulips show an amazing resilience.
    • In full bloom they met a very cold night with -3.3C, they lay down completely freeze and it seemed they weren’t going to stand up.
  • But they came to life!
    • Their stems curved like a snake, but they stubbornly bloom.
  • Their amazingly huge flowers are still bright and are giving pleasure to my eyes for more than three weeks now!
  • Frozen flowers and buds of trees continue to appear again.
    • Despite the low temperatures plants aren’t going to stop, they build up green mass, buds and don’t get discouraged at all.
    • Water in the sea also warms up – it’s +10C now and I don’t freeze in it at all.
  • Finally, I can spend more time on the shore after swimming and I’m back to my exercises.
    • Anyway, it’s spring, it’s a new life and there is no reason to be blue while the sun shines so bright to us.
    • And the weather, the weather will get better sooner or maybe later!
