Today is a summer solstice day - the longest day and the shortest night of the year in North hemisphere.

In this day at midday the sun is in its highest point.

It’s a kind of a turning point, after today the days would become just shorter and shorter although the summer is mostly ahead.

So today I wake up with the sun at 03.59 and went to greet it.

In my region we have a cool bike path along the sea, which after it be completed will stretches from the Curonian to the Baltic Spit.

Now we have got about a half of this bike path and it uses very active.

I also like cycling there, although do not like crowds.

It is really enjoyable to ride by the empty path when suns rays are making their way through trees towards you, birds singing theirs morning songs and the wind brings to you sounds of the raging Baltic.

You can stop whenever you want, to drink tea, to swim, just to seat and enjoy by this beautiful scene, by empty beaches and the world which seems yours.. at least until 6 a.m when people started to appear on your way, this is how the magic disappears, this is how the long summer day - the longest one will disappear, disappear at 21.21.

So the only we can do is to enjoy by this short magic moments.
