Diary 3
- Dear diary, Today was quite a busy day, but I am glad because it was productive, too.
- First of all, after waking up quite early, I prepared a wonderful coffee.
- I spread some liquid chocolate on the edge of my cup and then I poured my espresso.
- Coffee and chocolate is a wonderful mix to have a morning boost.
- Then, I began my daily run.
- After about 30 minutes I came back home, had a shower and took a bus to work.
- Before going to school, I went to a newsagent’s to buy some crosswords and some stationery.
- As soon as I went out, I noticed I had given to the newsagent an extra £10 note, so I went back inside.
- Fortunately, the man checked and confirmed it was true, then he gave me back my £10.
- Later, I went to the school where I work as a teacher.
- My students were quite active and I think they learned much.
- At midday I had lunch with my colleagues and had a pleasant chat with them.
- At 1:00 I went back to work and continued my lessons.
- At 4 pm I went back home, at 6 pm I had dinner and watched an “Inside Man” episode.
- I really began to love this series.
- Now I have to go to bed, see you soon.
- I have a question: in “an extra £10 note”, should “£” be read as “pounds” or “pound”? Thanks!
