  • Dear diary, Today was quite a busy day, but I am glad because it was productive, too.
  • First of all, after waking up quite early, I prepared a wonderful coffee.
    • I spread some liquid chocolate on the edge of my cup and then I poured my espresso.
    • Coffee and chocolate is a wonderful mix to have a morning boost.
  • Then, I began my daily run.
  • After about 30 minutes I came back home, had a shower and took a bus to work.
    • Before going to school, I went to a newsagent’s to buy some crosswords and some stationery.
  • As soon as I went out, I noticed I had given to the newsagent an extra £10 note, so I went back inside.
  • Fortunately, the man checked and confirmed it was true, then he gave me back my £10.
    • Later, I went to the school where I work as a teacher.
    • My students were quite active and I think they learned much.
  • At midday I had lunch with my colleagues and had a pleasant chat with them.
  • At 1:00 I went back to work and continued my lessons.
    • At 4 pm I went back home, at 6 pm I had dinner and watched an “Inside Man” episode.
  • I really began to love this series.
    • Now I have to go to bed, see you soon.
  • I have a question: in “an extra £10 note”, should “£” be read as “pounds” or “pound”? Thanks!
