    • The ability of traveling very changed for russians in last years.
    • We have been almost locked in our country because of COVID and current political situation.
    • So we are forced to discover our cities and places for domestic tourism.
    • Those cities that have at least something worth seeing are flooded with tourists.
    • Of course, there are some good aspects like that cities are being repaired, getting new points of attraction, more financing and so one.
    • So now we have not only Moscow and Saint Petersburg to visit and to discover.
    • At best times I wasn’t a fan of domestic tourism, although I’m not now too, but this wave didn’t pass me by.
    • In March I’m going to visit our ”South” - the city of Olympic games 2014 - Sochi.
    • To visit Sochi in summer is a murder, not just for yourself, but for your wallet too.
    • Of course, the weather not so good in off season, but crowded much less, as well as prices.
    • Actually, to visit Sochi even in off season will cost me not less than it cost to visit Europe in the old days.
  • But to be honest the contrast is very striking.
    • Surely our cities are becoming better, but the people are still the same and prices are still not suit to what is offered.
    • Abroad I could see and get more for less price.
    • Of course, I miss those times, but no-one knows when all is going to return back to square one and even will it..
