There's no place for love there
- A couple of days ago I've been watched "The Hobbit" by Peter Jackson, based on the splendid novel by J.R.R. Tolkien!
- As a Tolkien fanatic what can I say?
- I am totally thrilled; I was a little worried about the quality of the movie and the possibility to make a movie of such a complex story , but after watching it I can say that I really enjoyed it!
- Actually I am thinking to go to the cinema again!
- Chapters like "Roast Mutton" or "Riddles in the Dark" are beautifully made, not to talk about the makeup of all the thirteen dwarfs in the movie.
- Unfortunately the wonderful grey wizard, Gandalf in not dubbed in the Italian version by the original dabber because he passed away two years ago and so I was a little disappointed not listening to his unique and particular voice!
- I've heard that many people dislike this movie, especially because of the new digital format: truth be told I think all these people were expecting "another" Lord Of The Rings (maybe I was one of them) but it must be understood that the books are completely different and consequently the movie-transposition of The Hobbit had to be different.
- Reading and lately watching The Hobbit I noticed something weird and at the same time marvellous: there's no place for love there, only the great call of adventure!
- oooh and merry Christmas!!
