  • I like to ride a bicycle.
  • I had a bike when I was a child.
    • It frequently used to break down and its brakes were not gripping very well.
  • Nevertheless, I used to fix it and use it.
  • Now I’m a big boy.
  • But I have never given up riding my bike.
    • In 2019, I bought a second-hand bike from Istanbul.
  • The day after I bought the bike, I decided to go to Zonguldak, a coastal city in the Black Sea, from Istanbul.
    • It was July and the weather was very hot.
    • The journey began on Friday afternoon from Istanbul.
  • Firstly, I arrived in Şile town at night.
    • It’s nearly 80 km from Istanbul.
    • That night I slept there.
  • In the morning, I prepared my bike and moved at 5 a.m.
  • It was a good idea to depart early because the weather was hot at midday.
  • Generally, the road was empty.
    • I travelled on the empty road with beautiful sounds, chirps, and tweets of birds.
  • In the evening, I arrived in Karasu, a coastal town in the Black Sea, around 8 p.m.
    • In the following morning, I also moved early.
  • It was interesting and entertaining to ride a bike in the early hours of the morning because the weather was cool.
  • At the same time, I could pedal rapidly.
    • But it was tiring to climb to the ramps and the uphills.
    • Despite this, I succeed to overcome all these difficulties.
    • In the end of two and a half days, I arrived in Zonguldak.
    • I travelled about 400 km from Istanbul to Zonguldak.
  • Finally, this journey was a wonderful and interesting experiment for me.
  • Today, I still ride my bike when I have enough time and find a good opportunity for cycling.
    • I travel to villages and mountains in the area I live.
    • I also take photographs in nature and share these on my Instagram account.
