  • Abstract for scientific essay -2

    • This article is an illustration of the increasingly widespread view of the traditions of indigenous peoples not as something that came to us unchanged from ancient times, but as a product of transformations, most of which took place only in the last few centuries.
    • The object of this work is the history of the religion of the Solon Evenks from the beginning of their migration to China (mid-17th century) to the present day.
    • Due to the slow spreading through several different natural and economic zones, this ethnic group actively changed both objects and ways of worship (mainly by borrowing religious practices and deities that were needed from neighboring peoples).
    • Ultimately, the Solons now living in the west of the Evenks Autonomous Banner created a religion that has almost nothing in common with the one that exists among the Evenks of Russia, but at the same time retained the general principle of the organization of religious practices, which, according to the author of the article, should be the object of such studies.
