  • My story

    • The topic of my today’s essay is Russian folk tails and stories.
    • In my culture just like in others there are plenty of stories, myths, legends, fables etc. Fairy tales and fables for kids is the one enormous part in the Russian literature.
    • My family, relatives, friends and acquaintance all we grew up listening to our parents’ different stories.
    • All of them teach us to discern kindness, justice, mercy and make children understand how to differ evil and good.
    • I’d like to represent you a short version of one of Russian folk tails which is called “Masha and Bear”.
  • This is a story about a little girl who got lost in a forest.
    • So, let’s go directly to the telling.
    • Long ago, there were living a grandparent with their granddaughter Masha.
    • One day Masha’s girlfriends invited her to join them to go berrying.
    • The girl asked her grandparents if they allow her to spend time with the friends.
    • After they said yes, girls went to the forest.
    • Tree by tree, bush by bush and no noticing Masha got lost.
    • Walking alone she found out an old, cosy house among the trees.
    • When she got inside she had understood there is nobody there.
    • In some minutes, walked in the owner of the house and it was a big bear Misha.
    • He saw the girl and got glad because now he won’t live alone.
  • Since that time, the bear gave orders to Masha like cleaning, cooking.
    • The girl missed her family a lot and had crated one plane how to run away.
  • One day she cooked pies and asked Misha about possibility to treat her grandparents.
    • The bear refused the request and against to this suggested that he could go and bring a delicious treat to Masha’s family.
    • The little girl exactly wanted like this.
  • She prepared a big basket with the pies and got inside too.
    • When Misha drew near the village, the dogs smelt out rather similar smell, the smell of Masha.
  • They started barking and Misha threw down the basket and ran away.
  • Grandfather came closer to the basket immediately, so he saw his lovely granddaughter.
  • He was very delighted and called his wife to see Maria.
  • Since this day their family lived happily ever after.
    • In conclusion, I want to point that all the story shows and teach us, that we must be careful and never lose hope.
