  • Love is a feeling of universal affection that one has towards a person, animal or thing.
    • In my opinion, there are four main characteristic representations of love: romantic, family, brotherly and divine love of God.
    • Furthermore, self- love.
    • This last one is very important ingredient to enjoy psychological well being.
  • When we accept our body, personality, character, attitudes and behaviors.
    • What is preeminence of love?
  • What it means is that God was generous to man and created love so that he could be happy and enjoy a multitude of positive feelings.

    • It does not act disgracefully, it does not seek its own benefit; it is not provoked, does not keep an account of a wrong suffered, it does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” In another words, we always have to be humble, kind, patient and tolerant of each other in love.
  • As opposed to the above ideas, hatred is the cause of dissension, but love covers all faults.
    • For that reason, God tell us: “Love your enemies and love your neighbor as yourself”.

  • In the first place, an existence without love supposes a void.
  • Love is a need of every human being.
  • We all need love and we need to be loved.
  • For example, how would children grow up if they do not have love?
  • Well if they grew up without love, they would have personality problems in adolescence and adult life.
  • Taking everything into account, through love we strengthen our personality, increase our self-steem, compassion and confidence, among other benefits.
