Moving Around

• I used to move most of the time by a car.

• Although keep a car in Russia isn’t cheap (you need to fuel it, repair, buy insurance and pay taxes) it was very convenient, I could go wherever and whenever I want to.

• Now to go somewhere I need at least to pay attention to a timetable.

• Some people prefer to use a taxi instead of own car, they say that considering costs of having a car, a taxi isn’t so expensive.

• My opinion is different, I use a taxi quite seldom.

• Even buses I don’t like, preferring to go walking or cycling.

• But there is one kind of transport which I accept.

• It is a suburban electric train, which is eco-friendly, quite cheap, fast.

• For the last time I became often to use it to go to my dacha.

• It’s quite comfortable and convenient and I really don’t mind it, but still I hope one day to get back to a car, better to a hybrid one.
