  • I have been working at home for about twelve years.
  • I try to produce all the food we need throughout the year.
  • Therefore, I spend the summer taking care of my vegetable patch.
  • I grow potatoes, cabbages, peas, beans, zucchinis, lettuces, leeks, onions, endives, parsley, chervil, thyme, tarragon, carrots, rosemary, strawberries, raspberries, apples, and plums.
  • This full-time job is sometimes difficult because of the heat.
  • When this is the case, I get up very early in order to enjoy the cool weather.
  • But this year, I’m not suffering from the heat at all.
  • We are experiencing a very weird summer in Belgium.
    • Today morning, the temperature was around thirteen degrees and fifteen degrees all day long.
    • For sure, it is quite chill but I never complain about the weather or anything else.
