  • Global social issues

  • There are many global social issues in the world.
    • I’d like to talk about a few of them and try to suggest the problems be resolved.
    • The first one is the climate change and pollution.
    • The people and the nature are two interconnected things.
  • The water we drink, the soil we use for our harvests, the air we breathe… all these areas are polluted.
    • What can we do with it?
  • We should think more about the environment.
    • We can run an online campaign to make other people take care of the nature.
    • Because we still depend on it.
    • The second problem is the health issues and poverty.
  • The pollution problem and our health are related.
    • Moreover, the people from the developing countries constantly suffer because of epidemics of AIDS or malaria, for example.
    • That also creates another problem as overpopulation and extreme poverty.
    • The higher level of children mortality exists, the more frequently people give a birth.
    • That makes people struggle with everything, that they even can’t make ends.
    • 20% of global population live in extreme poverty; the most of them are children.
    • What can we do with it?
    • We could help the developing countries.
    • But the most important thing is the government of these countries should get the aid.
    • Also, the governments are very soft on drugs and alcohol.
  • They deny the problem really exists.
    • The third problem is the lack of good education and, as a related thing, jobless and unemployment.
    • In developing countries, the most of the people can’t get any good education.
    • It depends on the people social status and the money they have.
    • The most of the people are forced to work from their childhood for not dying of hunger.
    • What can we do with it?
    • The developed countries could help the people from the developing countries getting good and free education.
    • Here we have another problem: gender inequality.
    • In many countries, as Islamic countries, girls can’t get the same education as the boys, because they have to me wives and mothers.
    • The lack of good education leads to jobless.
  • People don’t have enough knowledge to do any work.
    • Also, the unemployment is a government problem.
    • The economy recession leads to corruption and horrible bureaucracy.
  • That makes people lose their jobs and they don’t have any opportunity to get another one.
    • What can we do with it?
    • Modern world can offer good online job opportunities.
    • Also, the government should think of the people’s education.
  • The forth and the last one issue I’d like to discuss is conflicts between people.
    • Wars, racism and so on.
  • Sometimes people become very aggressive with their ideology, so they start undermining society.
  • That’s why people start to fight.
    • What can we do with it?
    • I think, it’s a very difficult question.
    • Because people have different thoughts, cultures, education, etc. It leads to having different tastes.
    • It OK but we have to create another society, educating and teaching our children to respect the tastes of other people.
