  • English variation

  • The other day, my english teacher asked me what variety of English would I teach if I become an english teacher.
  • That is a very interesting matter, because in Spain, we use to learn British English.
    • In the real life, I teach myself not only British variety but USA´s as well.
    • The big question is: Is one better tha another?
    • The answer is not just, no, because we are not thinking in the rest of English varieties.
    • What about jamaican english, or even indian, canadian, etc. English is just like Spanish, there´s not just one variety, there are thousand of it, so, in order to answer this big question, I´ll say that, in my opinion, we should choose the type of English, Spasih or whatever language we want to learn.
  • In the end, our goal is the same: to be able to communicate with any speaker about any topic we want.
