My holidays, my summer discoveries, I was doing them on the paths of the Cévennes.
I also used to travel the medium mountain paths of the Southern Alps, the Pyrenees, or Provence.

You should not use this trail with such shoes.
I see your shoes are too light.
If you fall down you could get easily a broke leg.
It is very easy to slide on this trail which climbs to 1700 meters, and which is very narrow in places.

At this altitude (even moderate), your bare skin can be burned in less than a quarter of an hour.
The wind is blowing well, and you won't feel anything at first.
It is this evening and for more than three nights that you will have the opportunity to remember your very sunny walk.

Of course, many hiking guides still recommend basic safety practices.
Of course, you never go on a mid-mountain trail without well-covered shoes and appropriate warm and waterproof clothing at your feet.
