Online education solves only the third problem, in my opinion.

Thanks to online courses you can improve some skills in the concrete area but it is impossible to get a fundamental education.

For example, you can listen to a course on the Game theory on Coursera online but you hardly can get Abel Prize in mathematics without studying at university.

Probably, it is correct to say about a fundamental transformation of traditional education thanks to online courses and that since the invention of Internet schools and universities could not more remain essentially the same.

In conclusion, we can remember a phrase of one of the stock characters of Russian film «Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears».

He claimed that in a few years there will be no cinema, no theatre, no books, no newspapers, just TV.
