By changing the spacing between dipoles, it is possible to adjust appropriately frequency regime of the dipoles as well as to change the frequency band of the divider.

It is possible in such design because of sensitivity of the resonant frequency of the dipoles to the changes of electromagnetic coupling between the dipoles.

Such dipoles behavior is based on the topology feature, when the low-, and high-frequency dipoles are placed on the same plane of the substrate, and then have a mutual polarization plane.

Another subject to be mentioned regarding frequency behavior of the proposal antenna is the difficulty to achieve good matching between the low-frequency dipole and the port 2 when forming difference radiation pattern. From Fig.

3 it is seen that matching level at low frequency approximately twice lower than at high frequency, when the sum radiation pattern is formed.

This problem appears to be solved by parametric optimization of the antenna elements.

As was mentioned in the topic, the whole implementation of this structure might be executed without any vias in the substrate board, which means avoiding of additional difficulties for implementation of the antenna.

Many of the structures mentioned appear to be appropriate candidates for wireless communication systems as well as to have reasonable size and weight characteristics.

However, the design of two-port printed dipole antenna, where the terminal-fed dipoles are used to be connected to the ring power divider, seems to have prospects when designing devices for radiolocation problems.

In addition, the presented structure is shown to have the fully planar implementation, which contributes to its usability in future wireless communication applications.
