  • Antenna Technology

  • The diagram of the simulated -parameters of the proposed antenna is shown in Fig. 3.
  • As can be seen the dashed line, represented return losses of the first port has minimum peak values at frequencies 1.015 GHz and 1.05 GHz, where only one of them lies inside of the ring power divider frequency band, namely 1.015 GHz.
  • At that frequency, the -15 dB matching level is observed.
  • As was mentioned above, the isolation between channels is better than -20 dB over 350 MHz frequency band.
  • It is observed from this diagram that frequency band of the divider much wider than frequency band of the dipoles so, hence, it is possible to change frequency regime of the dipoles over a wide range.
  • The radiation pattern of the antenna with port 1 being fed is presented in Fig. 4.
  • Here we have directed radiation with maximum peak at a particular direction along the Z-axis.
  • So a novel design of two-port dual-band printed central-fed dipole antenna and some base radiation and matching characteristics have been presented in the paper.
  • So far, there is not a perfect matching level of port 2 and dipole, however, it is promising for future wireless communication systems to have such two-port devices in one integrated module.
  • Such problem is a target of the future research.
