According to the psychologist Geoffrey Miller, of the University of New Mexico, the women’s attraction to hilarious men has an explanation to the selection process which assures the continuity of the species.

The sense of humour is in fact a sign of creativity and intelligence, in other words, genetically spoken, those who may be able to simplify the survival and the offspring’s reproductive ability.
