    • Can you tell me if I use good tense in my homework story?
    • ...(story about women who has problem with her son) : For example, last week he left the house and didn't come back for three days.
    • (I used past simple because I think that it's completed action) Before last week he had never done this.
    • (I used past perfect because it's action in past before other action in past) I've tried everything the books tell you to do.
    • (I used to present perfect because she tell how many things are completed so far) Over the last few months, I've been understanding and polite to him but every time I've spoken to him he has got angry and has started to shout at me.
    • (I used present perfect because "over the last few monhts" mean that something started in the past and continue to present, but I'm not sure, because then I have 'every time' and it's like habitual in the past (and I should use past simple) or it's reapeated event in past and continue now (so I should use present perfect)) ?
  • Until last year he was a good boy and always helped me at home.
    • (it's completed action) Can you tell me, do I understand good these tenses?
