• If anyone had told me that I’d have been very keen on Chinese theatre, I’d have not believed them.

• And if anyone had also told me that one day I would take a part in a flashmob dedicated to the birthday of Li Yugang, I’d rather laughed.

• He specialises in "nan dan" role, which is male who plays female role in Peking opera.

• He’s often described as Mei Lanfang of the 21st century.

• The faculty of oriental studies that I have entered almost 2 years ago brought loads of opportunities and new passions into my life.

• Chinese theatre is a complex cultural phenomenon that combines traditional music, complicated choreography, decorative and applied arts, martial arts, acrobatics, well-known plots gathered from literature and so on and so on.

• Although Chinese theatre refers specifically to the more well-known forms such as Beijing Opera and Cantonese Opera, but there have been many other forms of theatre.

• Theatre of China is a definitely cultural aspect worth seeing, feeling and studying.

• The crux of the flashmob was to create a collage of photos of Li Yugang’s fans holding sheets of paper with chinese characters depicted on them.

• I feel so happy to be a part of such a nice event.
