  • I Tonya

    • 'I, Tonya' is a movie about Tonya Harding, who was the first American ice skater to land a triple axel jump in a competition in 1991.
  • Her personal life was troubled and not always happy.
    • She became even more famous in 1994 because her husband payed a man to beat in a knee her main American rival Nancy.
    • Nancy had to leave the temporarily the competition and Tonya won.
  • The movie doesn't follow the real facts.
    • In fact in the movie Tonya and her husband just wanted to threat the rival, but the man, who was paid to do so, made up his mind to change the plan.
    • In the real life the husband said it was his wife's idea.
    • At the end of the story she was sentenced to leave the ice skating for good.
    • And that is the most dramatic moment of the movie, in fact skating was all her life.
  • It was the only thing she was able to do.
    • I also looked up for her old videos on YouTube in 1991 when she was in her better moment career.
    • Actually she was great indeed.
  • The real Tonya in 1991 was perfect, much better than the actress in the movie.
    • Maybe it was her life troubles than made her going bad in the following competitions.
    • That is a sport were it's very important to be free with your mind, but she had a difficult relationship with her mother and her husband beat her up.
    • Nowadays she has a normal life, she is happily married and has two children.
    • This story seems to say that you don't need to be the best in the world for being happy.
