• During the wedding ceremony day,according to the Congolese traditional culture the woman should put her feet on a big stone,the way to establish her marriage,her marriage become heavy like a stone.The stone is not put on the ground,we let it fall down on the floor,the noisy is the acquiescence of the spirit which set the marriage.It is the symbol of the marriage signature.

• The stone is fall on the ground to show that all we are dust and then,we will all return to the dust；which mean until the death separate them,until one of the spouse return to dust,they will be husband and wife.

• The woman was lead to her husband home with a traditional basket with some seed inside which symbolize wealth,the wealth that she brings to her husband village to cultivate the field in order to feed her family.The woman family give to their son in law a hen, and after the hen is brought to her husband village ,if the hen can lay eggs and have chick it mean that the woman will have children,if the hen can not lay eggs and do not have chick,it is a bad sign.

• The bride could also have trouble to have children.
